The poor and the elderly among the Hui
(From the elderly among the Hui) “Getting old has been hard. I don’t have any family left. I lost my farm a few years back. I am too old to get a job, so I collect plastics for recycling. I am able to make a little money, but life is hard. I don’t have any money for medicine or doctor visits. I don’t go to the mosque because I am poor and homeless. Sometimes they will give me some money out of charity. Helping the poor is considered a good work in Islam.”
How could we pray?
Pray Jesus followers will serve, love, and care for elderly Hui who does not have any family to help them.

(貧窮年長回民的心聲) “變老真的不容易。我已經沒有家人了。幾年前我失去了我的農場，太老了，找不到工作，所以我只能靠回收塑料賺一點錢，生活很艱難。沒有錢買藥或者看醫生。我不去清真寺，因為我又窮又沒有家。有時侯他們出於慈善，會給我一些錢。伊斯蘭教認為幫助窮人是做善事。”
